Do you have the problem of a lot of cords around getting tangled and ending up in a mess? Do you wish there was a way to clean up the mess and have it look good at the same time? If this sounds like you then you are not alone.
This has troubled many individuals, home owners and business for many years. Whether you’re looking to stow your headphone wires tangle-free in your gym bag, hiding the ugly wire spaghetti you keep kicking further under your desk, or organize your gadget chargers and power plugs, there are options available.
I know I have tried taping the cords together. But that is only good if you do not plan on ever moving the cords or devices. And after a while the tape gets grease or starts to peel off. Then I tried using tie wraps for my cord management. This worked great, until I needed to move the cord or device and found I had to cut all the tie wraps and start over.
There are many different options available and each one fits a purpose. A few options for managing your cords are ties, loops, straps, channels, cord covers, raceways, winders, reels and each and everyone has its place and purpose.
For my quick access cord management I recommend the use of a cable organizer that is easy to put on, easy to take off and reusable. This is not always easy to find and does not fit in all cases. But it does work for many reasons and situations. One thing I found to help dress up the cords in my home was to use cord management products that are color coded to match both the cords and the area they are located. But some will use different colored cord management products to label and mark them for easy access. I would love to know what you use to manage your cords so they are not in a large mess laying on the floor.
