We have to understand that stress is part of our life but only we have to know how to handle stress and find ways to reduce stress. Did you know that this month of April is a stress awareness month? The purpose of this is that health care professionals and health promotion experts across the country will join forces to increase awareness about both the causes and cures for our modern stress extremely prevalent.

 Stress is the result to a stimulus that disturbs our physical and mental well-being especially that we live in this modern ways that is full of challenges, deadlines, hassles, frustration, pressure s and demands of life. At some point stress can be good, this inspires, motivates us, it helps sharpen concentrations, stay focus, energetic and make us alert in emergency situations but beyond a certain point this also ruin and causing major damage to our health, mood, productivity, relationship and quality of life if we don’t take care of it.

With this stress awareness month we all reminded to slow down and as much as possible manage our life stress easily. We need to handle our life with less stress and preventing us from getting sick due from overly stress. Here are some ways and ideas that would help you and me from preventing getting overly stress or relieve stress from getting worse.

Healthy Lifestyle – eat healthy food, drink more water, exercise and have enough time for your rest.

Balance On Everything – don’t overdo anything, need to balance our time from work, play, family, rest, food and all activities in life.  

Learn to let go of things – we need to forgive and forget of the things that hurt us or hold us back from doing something that make us happy.

Find time to relax and be happy – simple pleasures that we do will feel as better and healthier. The happier we are the less stress we have.
