* Spend as much time exercising as you do eating. It’s not overwhelming as it sounds You swim or exercise 30 minutes each morning straighten the house after lunch for 15 minutes and walk the dog for 15 minutes before dinner.
* Make plans that don’t include eating and drinking. Spend time with family and friends hanging out the mall, walking outside, what ever that doesn’t involve chowing down.
* When you eat out, see choices not limits. Narrow your choices to three healthy protein/vegetables items on the menu and selects from those sauteed shrimp, sushi, or chicken satay for example.
* Set a kitchen curfew. Make it off limits after 8:00 p.m. during the week.
